INSPECTOR SANDS
"Inspector Sands" is a 'codeword' alarm system within the rail infrastructure (UK). It alerts staff to the location of a fire. This critical project involved accounting for location use (Over tannoys in large open spaces such as Paddington Station) where echo may be an issue. As such, the tempo of speech was slowed at the recording stage, providing a more natural sounding recording. A calm, but assertive tone was used.

PRE FLIGHT SAFETY BRIEFING
As part of flight safety standardisation across the fleet, Automation for clarity systems were installed on aircraft to deliver safety messages. The benefit of this system was a multilingual approach when considering countries being flown from and to.

FLIGHT EMERGENCY MESSAGE
In the case of Emergency, a selection of messages could be played from the attendants control board. This message would be played in the event of a forced landing on land. The message would progress to give the 'Brace chant' following the Captains 'Brace Brace Brace' announcement. On site recording is from an actual flight that made an emergency landing.
